This south coast native is a modern surf freak with a head of hair that doesn't falter under water or in high winds.
Photographer and videographer Joel Trist loves getting behind the lense and experimenting with whatever type of camera he can get his hands on, taking shots of surfing, weddings or landscapes. He has also got skills in the editing bay chopping up vids.
Luke Okay is an artist and graphic designer living on the coast of northern New South Wales Australia originally hailing from Kiama in the states south, where he and fellow co-founder Trait formed Local Artist Division.
Luke is now the menswear designer at the iconic surf label Billabong, where he has planted his unique style for the last three years. Now having built a reputation in the surf/streetwear worlds he continues to progress, innovate and create an inspiring brand image through his design and aesthetics.
He has previously worked for Mambo and also cultivated an extensive freelance client list including Converse, Triple J, Chilli surfboards, Sol Republic, Red Bull, and more.
Luke’s main love is art and having curated a number of group art shows and exhibitions for the likes of Mambo, Take 3 For The Sea, as well as LA’ Division, he’s also been apart of exhibitions for the likes of Billabong, Oakley, Red Bull and Canon.
